EVE Online

EVE Online:

EVE Online is an MMO (Massive Multiplayer Online) created by ccp. There are many things of which you can do in this game, and i have to say this is the best MMO i have ever played. I have played games such as WoW, and age of conan, but nothing can beat this game.

Im going to go over some topics and give you some information about EVE, and see if you wouid like to play the game for yourself and start getting into the real hardcore gaming which is out there.

Let's start with choosing a race their is 4 races of whom you can play as.
These races are Amarr, Caldari, Gallente, Minmattar, The best race of which i like to play is Caldari and Amarr they are great starters for me and i know everything about them.
The ships above are sansha, Caldari and Amarr technology fused together one of the most powerfull races in the game and great ships to :)

Next we go through PvP.
PvP is a great and breathtaking experience that gets most of the EVE players hearts. It really is that great, you get massive addrenaline rush's, through 3000+ fleets, small little roams with your friends, or how about a solo wolf ? Any of these are great and will get you going for a long time in Eve be the predator you want to be.

Now lets move onto mining.

Mining is the very fuel source of EVE. Using the minerals you mine to pump out capitals, battleships, tech II and tech III ships and many many more. Such as ammo, modules, probes, stations, even more mining equipment if you like. Its always great watching people buying your goods from your industrial mega production.

Moving on.
Ratting helps in many ways to get the extra ISK. (EVE Currency) The better the sec status the better your income will boost. Try joining an alliance for this somewhere in null sec space, but near high sec just in case there is not a market hub near your alliances solar systems. Remember the best spawns are the battleship spawns. Some of these battleships will have 1.8m bounties, follow the guide above to teach you how to chain. Chaining is where you have a good spawn you just leave one ship of that spawn and the spawn will respawn in about 10 minutes later for you to tag, claim, kill, again. Hope you got that :) takes a bit but you will get the hang of it eventually.

Now Industry the same as mining but this is building the major Number 1 in EVE online, that supplys everything in the game.

These are blueprints these are what you need to build your array of goods in the game.
Some cost way to much isk, However worth it and some you can aquire with as little as 24k isk.

You can research these bpo's to reduce the amount of minerals, and the amount of time needed to produce them. even make some copies you can give to your friends. So they can start producing with you becomeing the ultimate belt grinding force out there.

Remember BPO = Blueprint original, that means unlimited runs.
BPC - Blueprint copy only an allowed number of runs.
They will look different. copies will be brighter, and the originals will be dark blue.

When you start building you will need to go to the stations industry tab, and click science and industry to start making your goods.

Its always best to try everything so you know what you need to do, and what you like to do.

Missioning:

Missioning starts by talking to an agent in station, or finding an agent in the agent finder in your quarters. Once you have found an agent and a topic of mission you want to do (Fighting/Mining/Production/Exploration ect ect) talk to him and get the appropriate ship which would be best. Say am going to go with fighting as i have fought and killed about a million NPC's, since ive been playing. Yes im a carebear :P but i have done everything in EVE i wouldnt be writing this mini guide.

Once you have accepted the mission. Fly to the designated solar system, and fly to the warpzone and eliminate all NPC's their. However watch out some NPC's Depending on the missiong are friendly. When you have killed your targets, head back to your agent you got the mission from, and aquire your reward. In the future after you do more missions your standing will increase the higher your standing the higher level missions you will get. level 1 missions requires a frigate, or any other ship. Level 2 cruiser. Level 3 battlecruiser. Level 4 battleship, Any good damage and tanking boat you will have. Now level 5 about a tengu or some mates in a couple of battleships, that can cover each others asses in a fight, as level 5 are the most difficult missions out there.

Now to wormholes!

Wormholes can make massive amounts of isk in a short time. However just as in low sec, people can kill you in here so you will have to watch out at all costs. The enemies (NPC's) in these holes are called sleepers. Their salvage is worth so much isk that you can make about 150m an hour from a class 4 wormhole. Tengus and other tech 3 ships are best suited from class 1 to class 4 holes. You need more for class 5 and 6 wormholes. Ive heard in a class 6 a carrier was destroyed within 50 seconds it is really insane!

Incursions:

Incursions offer some very nice rewards, get a nice ship go to the incursion site where the sansha are holding up a solar system from anywhere in eve. (wherever the incursion is of course) There will always be more than one incursion in the game. So you will be pretty occupied. Again a tengu is a really good ship for this type of mode of play, however when the sansha incursion forces take a load of the systems status up. There will be penaltys such as resistance, bounties, and firepower. Get this down and the benefits will go back straight up.

Just a reminder sansha can be pretty difficult in these incursions, so watch out and be alert and in a big fleet with guys covering your ass ASAP. These sansha are the most difficult NPC's of all time. (THEY WILL SWITCH TARGETS!)

Building on planets is one of the most wonders of eve online.
Industrial players will have their income boosted by PI (Planetary Interaction) by building most of the stuff on planets. Such as fuel for capitals, and robotics for poduction of structures. All you have to do is Train the planetary skills, and get yourself the command center. Then set it up and place it on a planet of your choice and start your production stream. Easy as that!

Latest expansion for the EVE online player community is Incarna.
You can now walk on stations! In the next expansion you may even own your own bar, and start making massive amounts of isk from just that. Taking a cut from the gambleing games people play. There are alot of possibilites that have just rised from this great little expansion.

Nearly forgot:

You may want to start a corp or join a corp and start getting some of your friends in, so you can start to organise things more easily once that is through and done with. If your corp gets to big and your other friends have corps you can even start your own alliance. Letting other corps join your alliance just in case they don't want to give up their corp just yet.

The militia

You can register your corp or yourself into the navy of a faction, and start to fight their enemys to gain great rewards. If you do missions for your corp (after enlisting) you will find your loyalty point needs for rewards such as a amarr navy apocalypse halfed it is really a great bonus to be had.

Well i guess that is it.
just some quick info:
Eve online offers a 14 day trial and a 21 day trial if invited by a friend.
Watch out in eve... people will try and scam you so do what always is best be safe!
Not everyone is a scammer though. their are some very good people :)
Always plan your strategies, and use the enviorment for you when fighting players.

Im guessing thats it.
Take care hope this helped.
